Abstract:
Provided are devices that prevent the sheet tray from opening against the user's will when the cover is open, without adding any complicated parts.
In a facsimile device (1), a recording paper tray (10) is equipped with a protruding part (11) that rotates in line with the rotation that takes place against the maintenance cover (20). A paper feed guide (30) is equipped with a locking part (31) which, in line with the rotation that takes place against the maintenance cover (20), shifts the protruding part (11) to a locking position which locks it and restricts the rotation of the recording paper tray (10) when the maintenance cover (20) is open, and releases the protruding part (11) and shifts it to a released position and enables rotation of the recording paper tray when the maintenance cover (20) is closed.
