Abstract:
A sheet reversing and conveying mechanism (1) where a sheet (10) is conveyed in
a first direction, the two faces of the sheet are reversed relative to each other
and the reversed sheet is conveyed in a second direction. The sheet reversing
and conveying mechanism (1) has a first conveyance section (2) for allowing one
face (101) of the sheet to be received at a conveyance surface (21) and conveying
the sheet in the first direction (direction of arrow S), a sheet reversing section
(3) for allowing the one face (101) of the sheet to be received at a bent inner peripheral
surface (31) and reversing the sheet while bending it along the bent inner peripheral
surface, and a second conveyance section (4) for allowing the reversed sheet
to be received at a conveyance surface (41) and conveying the sheet in the second
direction (direction of arrow T). The first conveyance section (2) and the second
conveyance section (4) are adapted such that the sheet is conveyed while being
sucked to the conveyance surfaces.
