Abstract:
Provided is a novel sheet thermal welding apparatus that enables efficient production and that is capable of flexibly dealing with welding patterns having various shapes. With respect to a sheet comprising at least two multilayers having opposing surfaces not joined to each other, this sheet welding apparatus is for joining the opposing surfaces of the sheet in a prescribed pattern by means of thermal welding. The sheet welding apparatus comprises: a base that has a suspended surface; a sheet conveyance part that is provided so as to feed the sheet downward along the surface of the base; a protective sheet that is configured so as to hold the sheet between the protective sheet and the surface of the base cooperatively; and a heat crimping part that is configured so as to move in two dimensions on the protective sheet for the purpose of welding the at least two multilayers of the corresponding sheet in the prescribed pattern by applying pressure from the surface of the outside of the protective sheet toward the surface of the base and applying heat.
