Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a shield connector and a shield connector connection structure such that deformation of shield members is prevented, thereby reducing the rate of occurrences of problems caused by connectors not being mated while improving the work efficiency with respect to mating connectors . The shield connector (1) comprises: a terminal fitting (3); a tubular housing (4) for housing the terminal fitting; and a shield member (5) provided between the terminal fitting and the housing. The shield member includes a tubular shield shell (51) and a projection piece (52) projecting in a plate shape from the shield shell in the axial direction of the shield shell. The housing includes a tubular hood (45) and a guide rib (47) for guiding a mating housing (7) to be inserted into the hood. The projection piece is elastically deformed toward the hood and retracted closer to the hood than the guide rib with the entry of the mating housing into the housing.
