Abstract:
In order to minimize exposure to electromagnetic waves on a cooktop, the present disclosure provides an induction heating type cooktop including: an upper glass plate having a heating area, on which a cooking container is heated, formed thereon; a working coil which produces a first magnetic field to heat the cooking container; an inverter having a switching element driven to allow a current to flow through the working coil; and a shield circuit which produces a second magnetic field that cancels out the first magnetic field, wherein a shield coil is provided on the cooktop itself or a separate device distinguished from the cooktop is provided with a shield coil.
