Abstract:
A shield plate (5) is provided with a transparent main body section (11) formed in a curved plate shape, and an overhang section (17) projecting curved in the opposite direction of the main body section (11) at the lower part thereof. The main body section (11) is formed in a convex shell shape in the front-facing direction with the vertical dimension becoming longer at the horizontally central section and gradually smaller leading towards the end sections. The angle of intersection between an opening plane (PL) of a helmet body (3) and the overhang section (17) is at least 45°and less than 90°. The length of the protrusion in the central section of the overhang section (17) is 10mm-80mm, and becomes longer at the horizontally central section and gradually smaller towards the end sections.
