Abstract:
In order to improve workability during assembly and improve reliability of shield performance, this shield terminal comprises: an inner conductor (52) connected to a front end section of a core wire (62) of a shielded wire (60); a dielectric (46) housing the inner conductor (52); a cylindrical member (12) constituting an outer conductor (10) and encircling and holding the dielectric (46); a lower member (18) being a separate component to the cylindrical member (12), constituting the outer conductor (10), and having a crimp section (32) connectable to a shield layer (65) of the shielded wire (60); a first hook section (22) formed in a front end section of the lower member (18) and capable of locking to a rear end edge section of the cylindrical member (12); and a first guide means (28) that uses the first hook section (22) as a fulcrum, rocks the lower member (18), and guides same to a normal assembly position.
