Abstract:
Provided are a shielding device (70, 90) that can occupy less volume of a storage compartment, and a refrigerator (10, 100). The shielding device (70, 90) is used for properly shielding an air path (109) for blowing cold air inside the refrigerator (10, 100). The shielding device (70, 90) comprises: a plurality of rotating covering walls (71,711,712,713,714) surrounding an air supply fan (47,107) from the outside in the radial direction, and a covering wall drive mechanism (60) that drives the rotating covering walls (71,711,712,713,714) to open/close. The covering wall drive mechanism (60) comprises a drive motor (74, 89) as a power source, gears (811, 812, 813, 814, 815, 816, 817) as power transmission devices that transmit the power of the drive motor (74, 89) to the rotating covering walls (71, 711, 712, 713, 714), and the like.
