Abstract:
An automatic transmission in which a first shift section and a second shift section are
operated at the same time in the opposite directions. A shift control device of
the transmission can perform shift of the entire transmission without increasing shock
even if shift at one of the shift sections is limited. The shift control device has
the first shift section and the second shift section, and when the transmission ratio
of the first shift section is changed, the transmission ratio of the second shift
section is changed in the direction opposite to the direction of the change of
the first shift section. The shift control device has shift speed setting means for
setting shift speed of the second shift section according to progress of shift at
the first shift section.
