Abstract:
An automatic transmission (4) that performs shifting by replacing a friction engaging element is interposed between drive wheels (5) and a drive source (1) having an engine (2) and a motor (3). An ATCU (40) sequentially performs torque phase and inertia phase processes during shifting to control shifting. A transition determination unit (41) determines that a transition to the inertia phase has been made if a transmission ratio is equal to or greater than a threshold value, and a rotational speed control unit (42) controls the rotational speed of a motor toward a target rotational speed. When the shifting is an auto-downshift corresponding to a decrease in vehicle speed during coasting and a rotation fluctuation input condition has been fulfilled, which is that rotation fluctuation is inputted to the automatic transmission (4), a transition to the inertia phase is determined after a filter process of smoothing the transmission ratio has been performed.
