Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a shift control device capable of performing shift control that is suited to the gradient of the surface upon which a vehicle is traveling, regardless of whether an air conditioning device is in an activated state or not. [Solution] If an ECU determines that an air conditioning device has transitioned from a deactivated state to an activated state (step S21), the ECU lowers a first threshold value (TH1) that is an execution condition for hill-climbing shift control (step S22) and also lowers a second threshold value (TH2) that is an execution condition for non-hill-climbing shift control (step S23), and if the ECU determines that the air conditioning device has transitioned from the activated state to the deactivated state (step S24), the ECU raises the first threshold value (TH1) (step S25) and raises the second threshold value (TH2) (step S27).
