Abstract:
A shift lever device, wherein the ball shaft of a lever has a shaft surface rotatably supported by the bearing surface of a plate and a sensor mechanism is disposed on the right side of the lever. A communication hole is formed between the communication surfaces at the front and the rear of the ball shaft and the bearing surface, and allows the top and bottom of the bearing surface to communicate with each other through the front and rear of the ball shaft. Thus, even if liquid intrudes from above into the communication hole, the liquid passes through the front or the rear of the ball shaft, thereby minimizing the intrusion of the liquid into the sensor mechanism.
