Abstract:
In this shift device, a worm, a moderating gear, and a rotating shaft (including a moderating pin) of a lever are rotated by driving a motor, thereby causing the lever to pivot. Here, in all shift positions of the lever, the moderating pin urges the moderating gear toward a position of engagement between the moderating gear and the worm. As a result, backlash between the moderating gear and the worm can be suppressed in all shift positions of the lever.
