Abstract:
This shift operation device (100) has a knob (1) operated by rotation, a first clutch gear (4) that moves in conjunction with the knob (1), and a ring gear (5) provided with a planetary gear (7) that engages with the first clutch gear (4). The shift operation device further has a second clutch gear (6) that engages with the planetary gear (7) and rotates in conjunction with the rotation of the planetary gear (7), a stopper (8) that prevents the first clutch gear (4) or the ring gear (5) from rotating, and a motor (22) for rotating the ring gear (7) when the stopper (8) is preventing the first clutch gear (4) from rotating.
