Abstract:
This shift range control device (40) switches a shift range by controlling the driving of an electric motor (10). An angle calculation unit (51) calculates an electric motor angle on the basis of an electric motor rotational angle signal acquired from an electric motor rotational angle sensor (13) that detects the rotational position of the electric motor (10). An acceleration calculation unit (51) calculates the electric motor acceleration on the basis of the electric motor angle. A moving average calculation unit (51) calculates an acceleration moving average value that is the moving average of at least one from among an electrical angle prescribed period and a mechanical angle prescribed period of the electric motor acceleration. A drive control unit (55) uses the acceleration moving average value to control the driving of the electric motor (10) such that the electric motor angle reaches an electric motor angle target value that corresponds to a target shift range.
