Abstract:
A shift range control device (40) of the present invention is provided with a drive circuit unit (41), a voltage detection unit (43), and a control unit (50). The drive circuit unit (41) has switching elements (411-413), and is shared by a plurality of winding groups (11, 12). The voltage detection unit (43) detects the terminal voltage of each phase. The control unit (50) comprises a current passage control unit (51), a cut-off unit control unit (52), and an abnormality monitoring unit (53). The current passage control unit (51) controls the passage of current to the winding groups by controlling the on/off operations of the switching elements (411-413). The cut-off unit control unit (52) controls cut-off units (91, 92), which are provided so as to be capable of switching between conduction and cut-off of power from a power supply (90) for each winding group (11, 12). The abnormality monitoring unit (53) carries out a disconnection diagnosis on the basis of the terminal voltage when current is passed to the winding groups (11,12) in a state of control in which power can be conducted to one of the cut-off units, and cannot be conducted to the other cut-off unit.
