This shift range control device (40) switches a shift range by controlling the driving of a motor (10). An angle calculation unit (51) calculates a motor angle that is a rotation angle of the motor (10) on the basis of a detected value detected by a rotation angle sensor (13) for detecting the rotation position of the motor (10). A speed calculation unit (52) calculates motor rotation speed that is rotation speed of the motor (10) on the basis of the detected value detected by the rotation angle sensor (13). A driving control unit (55) starts driving the motor (10) when a target shift range is switched, and deactivates the motor (10) by fixed-phase energization control for continuing energization to the same phase when the motor angle reaches a fixed-phase energization start position. The driving control unit (55) sets a fixed energization phase, which is an energization phase in the fixed-phase energization control, in accordance with the motor rotation speed when the motor angle reaches the fixed-phase energization start position.
