Abstract:
A motor position calculation unit (51) calculates an actual rotational position on the basis of a detection value from a rotational position detection unit (13) that detects the rotation of a motor (10). A target setting unit (52) sets a target range in accordance with a requested range, and a target rotational position in accordance with a target range. A drive control unit (54) controls the driving of the motor (10) such that the actual rotational position reaches the target rotational position, and carries out a stopping control for stopping the motor (10) when the actual rotational position is within a control range that includes the target rotational position. A reverse rotation determination unit (55) detects reverse rotation of the motor (10). When reverse rotation of the motor (10) is detected during the stopping control, a range establishment determination unit (56) determines that a shift range in accordance with the requested range has been established.
