Abstract:

A shift register and a drive method therefor, a gate drive apparatus and a display panel, which are used to enable the shift register to use a direct current voltage signal (VDS, VSD) to reduce a voltage of an output terminal (OUTPUT). The duty ratio of a clock signal (CLK) is improved, thereby reducing the power consumption of a thin film transistor. The shift register comprises a plurality of cascaded shift register units, wherein each of the shift register units comprises an input module (201) which responds to an input signal (INPUT) output by an input signal end, an output module (202) which responds to a voltage signal output by a pull-up node (PU), a reset module (203) which responds to a reset signal (RESET) output by a reset signal end, a first pull-down module (204) which responds to the input signal (INPUT) output by the input signal end and the reset signal (RESET) output by the reset signal end, and a second pull-down module (205) which responds to a voltage signal of a pull-down node (PD).
