Abstract:
A shift register unit and a driving method thereof, a gate driving circuit, and a display device in the technical field of displays. The shift register unit comprises a control subcircuit (20) and a noise reduction subcircuit (30). When a first clock signal (CK) is at a first electric potential, the control subcircuit (20) can control the electric potential of a pulldown node (PD) to be at the first electric potential. When the pulldown node (PD) or a second clock signal (CKB) is at the first electric potential, the noise reduction subcircuit (30) can control the electric potential of an output (OUT) to be at a second electric potential. Because the first clock signal (CK) and the second clock signal (CKB) have the same frequency and opposite phases, the control subcircuit (20) and the noise reduction subcircuit (30) can control the electric potential of the output (OUT) to be at the second electric potential continuously after the output stage of the shift register unit so as to ensure the effective noise reduction of the output (OUT).
