Abstract:
Provided is a shift switch device for suppressing variation of a lock position for shift-locking a shift lever that has been returned to a neutral position. A shift switch device (1) is provided with an electric motor (60), a wheel member (70) driven by the electric motor (60), and a cam member (80) that moves synchronously with the wheel member (70). When a parking switch is detected to be on and a shift lever (10) is detected to be positioned in a neutral position (N) of a manual operation guide groove (911), the wheel member (70) is rotated clockwise in an XZ plane as seen from a Y-positive direction by rotating the electric motor (60) forward. The shift lever (10) is then returned to a home position (H) of a middle guide groove (913) by moving a protrusion (82) from the outside of an operating path range of the shift lever (10) to the inside of the operating path range.
