Abstract:
Shifting device for a variable-speed transmission coupled to a drive motor, especially a motorcycle transmission, comprising an actuation lever (4) that can be moved from a neutral position to an actuating position and a shift lever (3) that can be moved from a neutral to a shift position. The invention is characterized by a shift force generating means (13) designed to produce a shift force acting upon the shift lever in neutral position in which the actuating lever is placed in actuating position and the shift lever is placed in neutral position and by interruption means (16) to interrupt ignition and/or fuel supply in the drive motor in the neutral position, wherein the shift lever (3) cooperates with the interruption means (16) so that ignition and/or fuel supply is automatically resumed after the shit lever has been moved to shift position. -
