Abstract:
A speed change device (1) for shifting the gear (2) of a transmission (3) is disclosed. The transmission comprises a first shifter shaft (4), a first shifter element (5) associated to the first shifter shaft (4) and arranged for movement in an axial direction of the first shifter shaft (4) for actuating a first set of gears. It further comprises a second shifter shaft (6) and a second shifter element (7) associated to the second shifter shaft (6) and arranged for movement in an axial direction of the second shifter shaft (6) for actuating a second set of gears. One of said first and second shifter shafts is hollow and the other of said first and second shifter shafts is partly arranged coaxially inside the hollow shaft.
