Abstract:
The present invention relates to a ship ballast water treatment device and, more particularly, to a ship ballast water treatment device wherein, when ship ballast water introduced from seawater is discharged, the water is treated by means of plasma without going through a process of neutralizing residual oxides, thereby substantially improving the ship ballast water treatment efficiency. Particularly, the present invention is characterized by a ship ballast water treatment device comprising: a reaction water tube configured such that ship ballast water is introduced and treated therein; a first electrode having a Kenics mixer made of a conductor and installed inside the reaction water tube and having an insulating layer provided on the outer-peripheral edge surface of the Kenics mixer; a second electrode made of a metal mesh net wound around the outside of the reaction water tube; a housing installed around the outside of the reaction water tube and spaced apart from the second electrode so as to form a plasma collecting space portion; an air supply portion connected to one side end of the housing such that air is introduced into the plasma collecting space portion; and a plasma supply tube connected to the other side end of the housing so as to transfer plasma remaining in the plasma collecting space portion to a water inlet of the plasma reaction water tube such that water is treated by the plasma.
