Abstract:
The present invention relates to a ship engine comprising: a cylinder for providing a space for combusting fuel; a piston for reciprocating between the top dead center and the bottom dead center inside the cylinder; and a supplying part coupled to the cylinder, for supplying fuel and air to the cylinder, wherein the supplying part includes: a fuel supplying device for supplying fuel to the cylinder; and an air supplying device for supplying air to the cylinder, the air supplying device includes an auxiliary air supplying member for supplying air to the cylinder between the lower side and upper side of the cylinder, and the auxiliary air supplying member supplies air when fuel is supplied from the fuel supply device, while the piston moves from the bottom dead center to the top dead center.
