Abstract:
In order to achieve both absorption of CNG pulsation and high response of pressure supply to a diesel engine, a ship is provided with: a main pipe (7) that guides CNG whose pressure is increased by an LNG pump to the engine; a pressure sensor (32) that measures the pressure of CNG supplied to the engine; a pressure adjustment valve (10) that adjusts the pressure of the CNG to a set pressure in accordance with engine load; a differential pressure sensor (36) that measures a differential pressure before and after the pressure adjustment valve (10); and a buffer tank (14) that absorbs a variable pressure of the CNG in the main pipe (7). The discharge pressure of the LNG pump is controlled such that, when the pressure obtained by the pressure sensor (32) is low, the differential pressure obtained by the differential pressure sensor (36) is increased while when the pressure obtained by the pressure sensor (32) is high, the differential pressure obtained by the differential pressure sensor (36) is decreased.
