Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a ship handling device capable of performing efficient fixed-point holding control with high accuracy. If a first condition, where the distance deviation from a target position is larger than a predetermined value and the moving amount of a ship per unit time is equal to or less than predetermined amount for a predetermined period of time, or a second condition, where the direction deviation from a target direction larger than a predetermined value and the turning round amount of the ship per unit time is equal to or less than a predetermined amount for a predetermined period of time, is established during the execution of the fixed-point holding control, the thrust setting value of the fixed-point holding control at the point of time when the first condition or the second condition has been determined is stored as a reference value, and the reference value is added to the input thrust setting value of the fixed-point holding control.
