Abstract:
A stop mechanism (23) of a helm apparatus (16) has: a rotating member (80) that is capable of rotating relative to a steering shaft (22); rotating discs (81); fixed discs (82) that face the rotating discs (81); and an electromagnet (83) that presses the discs (81, 82) against each other. A reversal control pin (110) is disposed on the steering shaft (22). A slit (120) is formed in a cylindrical section (80a). Both ends of the reversal control pin (110) are inserted in the slit (120). The slit (120) has an elongated shape in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical section (80a). A first pin-receiving stopper wall (121) is formed at one end of the slit (120). A second pin-receiving stopper wall (122) is formed at the other end of the slit (120). The reversal control pin (110) is able to move in the range of an allowable reversal angle (θ) between the pin-receiving stopper walls (121, 122).
