Abstract:
This ship propulsion device (100) is equipped with: a duct (1) which includes a stator (11); a propeller (2) which includes a rim (21) that has a rotor (23) disposed at a position facing the stator and blades (22) that are formed toward the inside in the radial direction of the rim; a steering shaft (3) which steerably supports the duct; a casing (4) which is provided separately from the steering shaft, and is formed so as to extend along the direction of the rotary axis A of the propeller; and a motor control unit (5) which is disposed within the casing and controls the rotary drive of the propeller.
