Title:
SHIP
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/262250
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] A chemical liquid-carrying ship has more holds than an ordinary transport ship, and has more partitions than an ordinary ship in a ship length direction and a ship width direction inside the hull. Stainless steel is often used as a partition material, often making the ship have a heavier hull and consume more fuel than other types of ships. There has been demand for a chemical liquid-carrying ship that has a bow-section, central-parallel-section, and stern-section structure, and that consumes less fuel and also does not have major initial costs, while still ensuring a load capacity. [Solution] A low-speed full-form ship, wherein the ship is a non-bulbous bow ship having a ship width of a limit B value or higher with which the ship width (B) base fluid number (v/(g・B)1/2) of the ship speed (v) is 0.425 or lower, wherein, in the structural draft line shape or designed water line shape, the angle linking a waterline width location of a location 2.5% rearward of a length between perpendiculars (Lpp) from the fore perpendicular (FP) and the fore perpendicular (FP) is 46-56 degrees, and the fore end location of a hull parallel section is 1.15-1.65B from the FP.
