Abstract:
A shipment instruction device of the present invention: calculates an excess capacity, which is a surplus amount of goods that can be shipped in a prescribed time period, from the difference between an amount of goods that can be shipped in the prescribed time period and an amount of goods for a shipment order for which the shipment deadline will arrive in the prescribed time period; generates a plurality of accelerated shipment order group proposals including, within the range of the excess capacity, shipment orders for which the shipment deadline will arrive after the prescribed time period; calculates the amount of goods that can be loaded in the prescribed time period; for each accelerated shipment order group proposal, calculates a shipment order group to be delivered in a time period after the prescribed time period, on the basis of the amount of goods of the shipment order for which the shipment deadline will arrive in the prescribed time period, the amount of goods of the accelerated shipment order group proposal, and the amount of goods that can be loaded in the prescribed time period, calculates a necessary delivery service quantity for the amount of goods to be shipped in the time period after the prescribed time period, on the basis of the shipment order group to be delivered in a time period after the prescribed time period; and of the plurality of accelerated shipment order group proposals, specifies an accelerated shipment order group proposal with a low necessary delivery service quantity.
