Abstract:
A shock absorber is provided with a telescopic tube member comprising a body-side tube and a wheel-side tube, a cap member for closing a top opening of the body-side tube, a cylinder standing upright in the axial center of the wheel-side tube, a piston rod held on the cap member and going in and out of the cylinder, a reservoir formed between the tube member and the cylinder, a cap internal passage formed in the cap member and communicating a rod internal passage and the reservoir, a plurality of valve bodies provided in series or in parallel midway through the cap internal passage, and a plurality of adjusters attached to the cap member that are capable of adjusting the valve opening pressures or opening amounts of the plurality of valve bodies.
