Abstract:
A shock absorber (1) comprising: a piston (70) movably inserted inside a cylinder (6) and partitioning the interior of the cylinder (6) into an expansion-side chamber (L1) and a compression-side chamber (L2); an axle bracket (3) blocking an opening on one side of the cylinder (6); and a suspension spring (9) arranged inside the compression-side chamber (L2) and interposed between the piston (70) and the axle bracket (3). The suspension spring (9) has a small pitch section (9a) and a large pitch section (9b). The small pitch section (9a) is arranged facing the piston (70) side.
