Abstract:
The present invention relates to a shock absorbing device for a safety belt including: a body unit (10) with a hollow inside filled with an oil (o) for mounting a plurality of components; a plurality of blocking ribs (14) formed inside the body unit (10) so as to protrude toward the inside of the body unit (10); and a buffer rod (16) arranged inside the body unit (10) so as to be able to move upwardly and downwardly, the buffer rod sequentially reducing the moving speed when disposed to the blocking ribs (14). According to the present invention, a plurality of the blocking ribs are arranged in a region separated upwardly in the body unit, so that the moving speed of the buffer rod is reduced if the buffer rod is placed between the blocking ribs. Thus, as soon as a vehicle collides, the safety belt is kept from extending so as to contact the body of a driver and passengers. If the safety belt receives an impact force over a given value, the buffer rod moves upwardly, and the moving speed of the buffer rod is sequentially reduced, so that the compression of the safety belt to the passengers is decreased, and the instantaneous impact is buffered.
