Abstract:
Provided is a shock absorbing material having adhesiveness and light-blocking properties. A shock absorbing material (1) which comprises a silicone composition (2) having adhesiveness and stress relaxing properties and an insulating inorganic black pigment (3) contained in the silicone composition (2), and has a thickness of 40 to 500 μm inclusive. The adhesion force of the shock absorbing material (1) to a glass plate is 2 N/20 mm or more. The transmittance of light having a wavelength of 300 to 850 nm inclusive of the shock absorbing material (1) is 0.1% or less. The degree of needle penetration of the shock absorbing material (1) is 50 to 110 inclusive as measured in accordance with JIS K 2207 at 25°C. The shock absorption rate of the shock absorbing material (1) is 20% or more.
