Abstract:
A shock absorbing member (30) for a honeycomb structure is provided with a first foamed resin plate (32), a second foamed resin plate (34) which is disposed on the main front surface (32s) of the first foamed resin plate (32), and an affixation member which affixes the second foamed resin plate (34) to the first foamed resin plate (32). The second foamed resin plate (34) is provided with one or more through-holes (34t). The main front surface (32s) of the first foamed resin plate (32) and the inner surface of each of the one or more through-holes (34t) of the second foamed resin plate (34) form a recess (38) capable of receiving an end of the honeycomb structure.
