Abstract:
The height of a surrounding wall (42) and ribs (46) of a second shock absorbing portion (18) is higher than the height of a surrounding wall (40) and ribs (44) of a first shock absorbing portion (20). The thickness of the ribs (44) is approximately identical to the thickness of the ribs (46) and the number of the ribs (44) is identical to the number of the ribs (46). Accordingly, the second shock absorbing portion (18), which is higher, is weaker than the first shock absorbing portion (20) by the amount corresponding to the height difference. The first shock absorbing portion (20) is arranged on the inside of a vehicle and the second shock absorbing portion (18) is arranged on the outside of the vehicle.
