Abstract:
A shock-absorbing structure for a vehicle door equipped with a vehicle panel having service holes, said shock-absorbing structure being equipped with: a door trim which covers the vehicle panel from inside the vehicle; and a shock-absorbing member which is mounted to the vehicle panel and covers the service holes. The shock-absorbing member is equipped with a shock-absorbing portion inserted into one of the service holes. The shock-absorbing portion has an end toward the outside of the vehicle which is disposed further toward the outside of the vehicle than the service hole. The shock-absorbing portion has an end toward the inside of the vehicle which is disposed between the vehicle panel and the door trim.
