Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/159007
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a shoe capable of improving brain function through stimulation of proprioceptors distributed in the sole of the foot. According to the present invention, the shoe comprises an outsole, wherein a first shape-retaining material for supporting the first metatarsal bone and one or more phalange regions from a first phalanx in the ball section of the sole, a third shape-retaining material for supporting a transverse arch region of the central section of the sole, and a shape-retaining material for a lateral arch region on the outside of the sole are arranged in the outsole. When worn, the muscle of the corresponding region is stretched by each of the shape-retaining materials arranged in the outsole, thereby stimulating the proprioceptors distributed in the sole of the foot.
