The present invention relates to a shoe care device and method. To this end, a shoe care device according to the present invention may comprise: a cabinet including at least one accommodation space; a rotating pipe unit which is positioned in the upper part of the accommodation space and which rotates toward the inside of the accommodation space; a care unit for caring for shoes; and a processor which controls the operation of the rotating pipe unit and which is electrically connected to the care unit. In addition, the processor can rotate the rotating pipe unit in the inward direction of detected shoes on the basis of the detection of shoes in the accommodation space, and control caring for the detected shoes through the rotating pipe unit rotated in the inward direction. Therefore, the present invention rotates the rotating pipe unit in the inward direction of the shoes on the basis of the detection of shoes in the accommodation space, and thus can intensively care for the inside of the shoes.
