Abstract:

A shoe design system using a frictional force quantification index, according to an embodiment, calculates the position, magnitude, and direction of a calculated frictional force applied to a shoe outsole at every moment in a support section during various sports such as running, and visually displays the position, magnitude, and direction of the calculated frictional force. In an embodiment, a frictional force quantification system accumulates arrows so as to display frictional force at every moment frictional force is generated, and standardizes the magnitude and direction of the frictional force according to a criterion. In addition, the frictional force quantification system sets a frictional force representative value so as to quantify and display major frictional forces of a section supported on the ground during running and various sport movements. In addition, in an embodiment, the shoe design system designs an outsole for improving an athletic ability according to the calculated frictional force. In an embodiment, the shoe design system designs an outsole by adjusting the width and depth of an outsole pattern during shoe design according to the magnitude and direction of the minimum frictional force required at the moment of landing.
