Abstract:
A shoe (1) for practicing dance on demi-pointe comprises a fabric body (2) designed to be worn on the user's foot and a sole joined to the fabric body (2), and is characterised in that the sole defines a plurality of sole portions discretely distributed on the base of the fabric body (2) of the shoe (1), the plurality of sole portions being sized such that one discrete portion (3c) is designed to correspond to a portion of the distal phalanx (4) of the user's big toe, another discrete portion (3d) is designed to correspond to the sesamoid bones (5) of the big toe, another discrete portion (3d) is designed to correspond to the distal phalanxes (6, 7) of the third to fourth toes, and a last discrete portion (3f) is designed to correspond to a portion of the proximal phalanx (8) of the user's small toe.
