Abstract:
This shoe press belt is configured by embedding a reinforcing base material in a polyurethane and integrating the polyurethane with the reinforcing base material. The polyurethane that constitutes at least the outer peripheral surface of the shoe press belt is a thermoset polyurethane that is obtained by curing a urethane prepolymer by means of a curing agent. The urethane prepolymer contains a first urethane prepolymer (A) that is obtained by a reaction between an aromatic diisocyanate and a polyol component containing an aliphatic polycarbonate diol represented by chemical formula (1).
In chemical formula (1), m is a combination of two or more integers selected from among integers from 2 to 12 (inclusive); and n is from 3 to 33 (inclusive).
