Abstract:
A shoe sole is provided with which it is possible to prevent warping of the shoe sole and reduce the load on the foot without providing a shank, and with which it is possible to eliminate manufacturing steps for the shoe. The shoe sole (1) has: an insole (30) that supports the sole of the foot from the toe toward the heel through the shank; an outer sole (70) provided on the front portion of the bottom surface of the insole (30); a rib part (52) that supports the entire surface of the portion of the insole (30) from the shank to the heel, the top surface of the rib part (52) being formed as a flat surface; and a heel part (51) that supports the rear end of the rib part (52) against the ground contact surface, and is formed integrally with the rib part (52) of a hard synthetic resin, the rib part (52) projecting downward, and the outer shape of the lateral cross section thereof along the left-right direction being formed with a curved surface.
