Abstract:
A shoe sole (100A) comprises a midsole (110) and an outsole (130) that defines a ground contact surface (134). The midsole (110) has a first projecting part (111) which is positioned on the medial foot side and on the back end side of the shoe sole (100A) and which projects toward the ground contact surface (134) side, while the outsole (130) has a first cover part (131) that covers the first projecting part (111). The first cover part (131) includes a first bottom wall part (131a) that defines the ground contact surface (134) and a first side wall part (131b) erected from a peripheral edge of the first bottom wall part (131a) on the medial foot side. When viewed along the direction of the normal line of the ground contact surface (134), a first ridge line (RL1) which is the boundary between the first bottom wall part (131a) and the first side wall part (131b) is positioned so as to depart farther away from a first outline (OL1) of the first cover part (131) defined by the first side wall part (131b) as the first ridge line (RL1) proceeds from a front-side specific position (SP1) toward a back-side specific position (SP2).
