Abstract:
A sport shoe that is not caught by the ground even if strong force is applied to the shoe when the wearer braces the foot when they slide sideways, thereby the wearer can perform fancy footwork. An outer sole (30) forming the tread is bonded to the lower surface of a mid sole (22) on which a rise part (24) is formed along the peripheral edge thereof. An extension part (32) extending to the peripheral surface of the mid sole is formed at the outer peripheral edge of the outer sole. A thickened part (29) is formed integrally with a portion along the little finger, on the peripheral surface (22a) of the mid sole, and the thickened part (29) has a thickness generally equal to or more than the thickness in the shoe width direction of the rise part (24) of the mid sole. The extension part (32), which is extended from the outer peripheral edge of the outer sole (30) to a projected surface of the thickened part (29), is formed curved with a large curvature and is disposed along the generally overall length of the outer sole.
