SHOELACE ENABLING EASIER LACING
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/051857
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a shoelace which passes through the eyelets formed on a shoe and both ends of which are knotted after such passage, wherein the portions of the shoelace that need to be drawn during shoelace tying or after the shoelace has been knotted, in order to tighten the knot which might otherwise become loose, can be visually checked. More particularly, the shoelace of the present invention is characterized in that an indication portion is formed in each predetermined area of each end of the shoelace, such that a wearer may recognize the portions of two ring parts of the knot tied after lacing, said portions corresponding to the parts inserted into the eyelets. Using the shoelace of the present invention, a user may draw a portion of the knot, corresponding to a linear portion of the shoelace during tying a knot or tightening a loosened knot, thus preventing the unexpected situation of untied shoelace. That is, a user may recognize the portion corresponding to the parts inserted into the eyelets, said portion being required to be drawn so as to tighten the shoelace. Thus, the convenience of the quick and correct tightening of the shoelace is provided. In addition, an additional indication portion is formed on the shoelace so as to enable a user to recognize the center of the shoelace. Thus, the shoelace of the present invention may further provide convenience of use in the respective residual lengths of both ends of the shoelace are kept the same, even without paying special attention after the shoelace has passed through the eyelets of the shoe.
