Abstract:

A shot pump (100) capable of sucking a carried material from an inlet (103) and discharging it from an outlet (104) by reciprocatingly moving a piston (102) from one end to the other end of a cylinder (101). The ratio of a clearance (&dgr ) between the side face (102s) of the piston and the inner side face (101s) of the cylinder (101) to the outer diameter of the piston (102) is set to 1/50 to 1/2. The inlet (103) is formed in the cylinder (101) on a side facing the tip side of the piston, and the outlet (104) is formed in the cylinder (101) on the base side of the piston. The carried material is sucked from the inlet (103), passed through the clearance between the side face (102s) of the piston and the inner side face (101s) of the cylinder, and discharged from the outlet (104). Thus, the shot pump (3, 4) and a variable speed type two-liquid metering and mixing apparatus (18) capable of preventing the carried material from being stagnated and gelated due to the stagnation in the pump while securing a fixed amount discharge capacity and usable for a long period without maintenance can be provided.
