Abstract:
A shovel according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a base carrier (1); an upper turning body (3) that is mounted on the base carrier (1) in a turnable manner; a main pump (14) that is mounted on the upper turning body (3); a hydraulic actuator that is driven by hydraulic oil discharged by the main pump (14); a bleed valve (177) that controls, of the hydraulic oil discharged by the main pump (14), the flow rate of hydraulic oil flowing into a hydraulic oil tank without being routed through the hydraulic actuator; and a controller (30) that controls the opening area of the bleed valve (177) according to the magnitude of pulsation at the pressure of hydraulic oil supplied from the main pump (14) to the hydraulic actuator.
