Abstract:
A shovel (100) according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a lower section traveling body (1); an upper section slewing body (3) that is mounted on the lower section traveling body (1) in a freely slewable manner; an object detection device (70) that is provided to the upper section slewing body (3); a controller (30) that serves as a control device provided to the upper section slewing body (3); and a driven body that an actuator causes to move. The object detection device (70) is structured so as to detect another shovel (200) within a detection space (DS) that is set around the shovel (100). The controller (30) is structured so as to change a moveable range (MS), which is a range that the driven body can enter, on the basis of the condition of an object that the object detection device (70) has detected.
